“A New
Man”
Summer of 2009,
the beginning of thoughts came to me saying, how will I make it through high school?
What will others think of me? I grew up to be the most non talkative kid in the
family. I’ve only spoke to myself in my mind and never to others nor my family.
High school was about to start in two weeks and I was feeling nervous already. High
school would be very frightening for me to be in. I would not know what to do
when I get there.
My first day in
the school, my heart started racing very fast and ready to pop out. Many
students I have never seen or met before. I never notice how their could be so
many in a high school. My classes were filled with students that were smaller
than me, I mean before I thought to these kids who would be bigger than me. Somehow
I got rid of my fearness and became a new name.
